That somewhat depends on why you want to join them. An ever increasing number of people seem to be conflating the Freemasons and the (mythical) Illuminati together, or see the Freemasons as a pathway toward getting into the Illuminati. If that’s your motivation for this, forget it, there’s no correlation, none, zero, between these two entities.

The primary charter of the Freemasons is oriented toward philanthropy, service to others. making the world a better place to live in, and so on. It has absolutely nothing to do with gaining fantastic personal wealth, access to “special” secret powers, and the other “usual suspect” types of things often associated with the mythical (imaginary, make believe) Illuminati.

If you are genuinely interested in joining the real Freemasons, you should start by accessing their website(s), study their activities, mission statement, history, various lodges around the world, and of course, rules for membership consideration. There’s much more to this than just filling out some forms and paying a fee. If someone is claiming to have such a simplistic membership offer, it’s completely fake.

Usually (but not always), joining the Freemasons is by invitation, via an already existing member, and even then, there is a vetting process involved. What can you offer to them and this organization, what would make you a good fit for this, etc.

Have a look at this, and decide carefully if this is really something you are genuinely interested in. It can require some real effort to become a member, but for the right person, it can also be a very rewarding experience, not for material things and personal gain, but rather for the quality of a person you may become.
