Appendant Masonic Bodies in Jamaica

Scottish Rite bodies operate in Jamaica under the broader Caribbean regional structure. The Scottish Rite's influence reflects both the direct Scottish Constitution lodges active through the Scottish District Grand Lodge and connections between Jamaican Masons and the wider Caribbean Scottish Rite network.
Royal Arch Chapters, Mark Master Mason lodges, and Knights Templar Commanderies are all active in Jamaica under both English and Scottish Constitutions. English Constitution Royal Arch Chapters operate under UGLE's Supreme Grand Chapter; Scottish Constitution Chapters operate under the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland. The York Rite has a well-established presence in Jamaica and is the more fully developed appendant tradition in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The Shrine has a presence in Jamaica through the broader Caribbean Shrine network. Jamaican Shriners participate in the regional structure connecting them to Shriners International's charitable mission.
The Order of the Eastern Star is active in Jamaica. Royal Ark Mariner lodges operate within the English Constitution structure. Cryptic Councils are also present under the York Rite framework. Jamaica's strong Masonic community supports one of the fuller ranges of allied and appendant bodies in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The Scottish Rite and York Rite operate in Jamaica in connection with the district lodge network. Jamaica's two active Masonic constitutions (English and Scottish) provide a broader range of lodge choices for visiting Masons than is available in most Caribbean territories. Allied bodies including the Order of the Eastern Star are active in Jamaica's lodge communities.
